2005 Honda Civic Owners Manual

2005 Honda Civic Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 2005 Honda  Civici Read this before downloading the file.

According to edmunds for the 2005 Honda Civic.  A Special Edition package is introduced for both the sedan and coupe; it features an upgraded audio system with MP3 capability, six-disc CD changer and an auxiliary jack for portable music devices. SE models also include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a wing spoiler and alloy wheels.

The 2005 Honda Civic comes as a coupe, sedan or hatchback. For the coupe and sedan, there are four main trim levels: the base DX (sedan only), base Value Package (coupe), LX and EX. The basic DX offers little more than an AM/FM radio. The VP adds air conditioning and a CD player. If you can swing it, the LX is the better choice, and you'll get most of the features you need, including cruise control; keyless entry; power windows, locks and mirrors; and a tachometer. Going with the EX nets you a moonroof, antilock brakes, variable wipers, a driver seat-height adjuster and alloy wheels

The Civic's interior is one of the best found in the economy class. It's roomy for the driver and passengers, and possesses a straightforward design and high-quality materials. If you plan on frequently moving bulky items, the Si hatchback, with its 35.7-cubic-foot cargo hold, is the logical choice.

With the sedan and coupes, the driving experience isn't the most exciting to be found in this class. The suspension is tuned for a refined and comfortable ride, not necessarily performance. The interior is roomy and quiet, however, and this allows the 2005 Honda Civic to be an excellent car for both commuting and long-distance trips. The Si hatchback is more fun, though not as much as other sporty coupes.

2004 Honda Civic Owners Manual

2004 Honda Civic Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 2004 Honda  Civici Read this before downloading the file.

According to edmunds for the 2004 Honda Civic.I n typical Honda fashion, the Civic receives a number of minor changes this year in order to keep it fresh. For the coupe and sedan, there's new exterior styling, including restyling for the front and rear bumpers, hood, headlights and grille. Inside, the audio speakers have been upgraded, extra sound deadening material has been added and floor mats are now standard in the LX and EX. The LX trim has slightly bigger wheels this year (15 inches) and standard keyless entry.

A new value package contains air conditioning, a CD player and a new center console. For the Si hatchback, there are new headlight and taillight designs, larger 16-inch wheels and flashier interior trim. Like the regular sedan, the Civic Hybrid has updated styling, standard floor mats and improved speakers. It also has a new interior console with an armrest, adjustable rear headrests and a manual driver-seat height adjuster. Finally, all 2004 Honda Civic sedans and coupes have a new seatbelt reminder system.

2003 Honda Civic Owners Manual

2003 Honda Civic Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 2003 Honda  Civici Read this before downloading the file.

According to edmunds for the 2003 Honda Civic. A host of minor changes bring the Civic into 2003. On the inside, all models gain improved seat fabrics, rear adjustable outboard headrests and new four-spoke steering wheels. On HX, LX and EX Civics, you'll find improved gauge illumination. There's a new center console for LX and EX, and a CD player is standard for HX and LX. On the outside, the 2003 Honda Civic has freshened taillamps and new wheel designs. Also, there is a Hybrid Civic available for the 2003 model year.

Model HistoryEver since its introduction in 1973, the Honda Civic has been one of America's most popular cars. Thanks to its frugal and clean engines, spunky performance and reputation for excellent reliability and durability, the Civic has been a consistent benchmark for the economy car class. It was last redesigned in 2001 and was the best-selling small car for that year. For 2003, the Civic Hybrid will bolster the Civic's already high prestige.

Body Styles, Trim Levels and OptionsFor now, the Civic Hybrid is offered in sedan format only. In terms of features, the Hybrid is similar to the regular EX trim. Nearly everything is standard, including power doors, locks and mirrors; automatic climate control; a CD player; keyless entry; and cruise control.

Powertrains and PerformanceThe concept for the 2003 Civic Hybrid's powertrain is grounded in simplicity -- use a highly efficient gasoline engine and supplement the performance with an electric motor. On the surface, the system may appear complex, but the Civic Hybrid powertrain provides a simple solution for the seemingly incompatible task of combining both efficiency and performance.

2002 Honda Civic Owners Manual

2002 Honda Civic Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 2002 Honda  Civici Read this before downloading the file.

According to edmunds for the 2002 Honda Civic. The big news this year is the return of the Civic Si. Featuring an exclusive two-door hatchback body style, the new Si has a 160-horsepower engine. All 2002 Honda Civic sedans and coupes feature a revised steering box for improved driving feel, added sound insulation and slightly tweaked suspension tuning. There are also some smattering of interior storage and comfort upgrades this year.

For 2002, there are three main trim levels: DX, LX and EX. The DX trim includes a tilt steering wheel and an AM/FM four-speaker stereo, among other items. Mid-level LX comes with air conditioning (includes a micron air filter), power windows and locks, cruise control and a cassette deck. Top-of-the-line EX receives antilock brakes, a moonroof, 15-inch wheels and a CD player. There's also the natural gas-powered GX sedan, the high fuel-mileage HX coupe and the new Civic Si hatchback.

DX and LX are powered by a 115-horsepower 1.7-liter four-cylinder engine and are mated to a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. The engines in the GX, HX and EX are equipped with Honda's VTEC variable valve-timing system. VTEC allows both the GX and EX to make 127 horsepower. The miserly HX manages only 117 hp, but the reward is an EPA mileage estimate of 36/44 mpg city/highway. The HX and GX can be equipped with a continuously variable transmission and all of these engines meet ultra-low emission vehicle (ULEV) standards. Later in 2002, Honda is set to offer a gasoline/electric hybrid Civic showcasing technology developed for the Honda Insight.

If it's power you are looking for, the Civic Si hatchback should suit you. The Si comes with the 160-hp 2.0-liter engine also found in the Acura RSX. The shifter for the close-ratio five-speed manual transmission is mounted rally-style on the center dashboard. Other features include standard rear disc brakes, a sport-tuned suspension, sport seats and special gauges.

2001 Honda Civic Owners Manual

2001 Honda Civic Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 2001 Honda  Civici Read this before downloading the file.

According to edmunds for the 2001 Honda Civic. Honda redesigns its cars and trucks every four to five years, whether they need it or not. For 2001, it's the Honda Civic's turn. Larger inside and out, with more powerful engines but a less sophisticated suspension, coupes and sedans return in familiar DX, LX and EX trims, while HX models come with two doors only. The GX Sedan is powered by natural gas. Unfortunately, the hatchback dies just when Americans are once again figuring out how useful they can be, and the sporty Si goes on hiatus for a year or two.

Who's your daddy? That should be the 2001 Civic's advertising tagline. Just when the old model began to get a little moldy around the edges in comparison to the Ford Focus, Mazda Protege and Nissan Sentra, Honda drives an all-new Civic off the drawing board and into showrooms, making the job of choosing a competent compact that much more difficult.

Engineers wanted to make the Civic more fun to drive while simultaneously increasing fuel economy with more-efficient engines. Improved crashworthiness, a larger cabin and a bigger trunk were also design goals. Added refinement and standard equipment would increase value in the eyes of the consumer, Honda thought. Finally, the company wanted to improve quality 10 times over the old Civic, which sounds damn near impossible to us. Last year's car was already known to be one of the most reliable and tightly assembled vehicles on the planet.

Unfortunately, the hatchback model got the axe and the zippy Si Coupe disappeared in the process, leaving two- and four-door models available in a wide variety of trim levels. Like last year, base models are known as DX, and include a tilt steering wheel and an AM/FM four-speaker stereo, among other items. Mid-level LX comes with air conditioning (includes a micron air filter), power windows and locks, cruise control and a cassette deck. Top-of-the-line EX receives antilock brakes, a moonroof, 15-inch wheels, a CD player and a more powerful VTEC engine. If fuel economy is a priority, get the HX Coupe, available with an optional continuously variable transmission (CVT) and lightweight alloy wheels. Got an Ed Begley Jr. complex? Try the CVT-equipped GX Sedan, which runs on natural gas and meets super ultra low emission vehicle (SULEV) standards. GX can be equipped with lightweight alloy wheels and ABS.

2000 Honda Civic Owners Manual

2000 Honda Civic Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 2000 Honda  Civici Read this before downloading the file.

According to edmunds for the 2000 Honda Civic.  No styling, content or trim changes for the 2000 Honda Civic. The performance-oriented Si continues for 2000, and there have been paint comings and goings: Taffeta White has been added to the CX and DX Hatchback, and Dark Amethyst has been dropped; Titanium Metallic comes to the DX, LX and EX Sedan, and Vogue Silver is gone. Vintage Plum is now available to the LX and EX Sedan, and Inza Red has been eliminated.

More than two decades ago, Honda introduced the Civic. It was a small, anonymous, unassuming car, competing in a market saturated by mammoth sedans sporting ornate chrome, garish styling treatments and acres of sheet metal. The producers of these defunct dinosaurs didn't bat an eye at Honda's fuel-sipping entry, despite the fuel crisis of 1973. Big mistake.

Since then, Americans have seen six generations of the Civic come and go, each much improved over the previous model, and each becoming immensely popular with consumers. 1996 brought us a new generation; certainly improved but not so much so that we'd consider it revolutionary. Available in hatchback, sedan and coupe body styles, Honda heeded customers who claimed the 1992-1995 Civic was too sporty-looking. A grille was tacked on up front, sheet metal contours provide a squarish profile, and larger rear taillamps give the Civic a more conservative look.

Dual airbags are part of the package, with antilock brakes standard on EX Sedan and Coupe models equipped with an automatic transmission. HX Coupes remain the only model to have available the continuously variable transmission, making it the most technologically interesting Civic offered.

1999 Honda Civic Owners Manual

1999 Honda Civic Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 1999 Honda  Civici Read this before downloading the file.

According to edmunds for the 1999 Honda Civic. The 1999 Honda Civic gets new front and rear styling as well as an improved instrument panel. The DX trim gets a rear wiper and washer, a cargo cover and a low-fuel warning light. A hot-rod Si model is introduced midyear with a 160-hp VTEC engine.

More than two decades ago, Honda introduced the Civic. It was a small, anonymous, unassuming car, competing in a market saturated by mammoth sedans sporting ornate chrome, garish styling treatments, and acres of sheetmetal. The producers of these defunct dinosaurs didn't bat an eye at Honda's fuel sipping entry, despite the fuel crisis of 1973.

Dual airbags are part of the package, with antilock brakes standard on EX sedan and coupe models equipped with an automatic transmission. HX coupes carry through with an available continuously variable transmission, making it the most interesting Civic offered, unless you count the new Si. Available in coupe format only, the Si is powered by a high-strung 160-horsepower VTEC motor that can sling the Civic to 60-mph in just seven seconds.

Four different versions of the 1.6-liter SOHC four-cylinder aluminum engine are available on the Civic. The most common variety has an output of 106 horsepower at 6,200 rpm. EX models get 127 VTEC-inspired horsepower at 6,600 rpm, and the HX Coupe uses an economical VTEC-E engine with 115 horsepower at 6,300 rpm. Si coupes make 160 horsepower at a lofty 7600 rpm.

The Civic is a solid buy. For those who like a bit of spice in their commute, try the EX version of the coupe. Want a fuel miser? The HX coupe is your car, getting up to 44 mpg. Strict budgets demand a look at the CX, while sedans are aimed more at the creature comfort side of the scale. Style-conscious buyers will go for the svelte coupe, or the suave EX sedan. Whatever your needs, Honda offers a Civic that will meet them - that is, unless your needs include towing trailers or carrying a family of five.

1998 Honda Civic Owners Manual

1998 Honda Civic Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 1998 Honda  Civici Read this before downloading the file.

What is the consumer reviews about 1998 Honda Civic according to edmunds ?

At this point I am passing my 1998 Civic with 218k miles to my younger sibling since I bought a newer Japanese car. This car has been really good to us. We owned a '96 LX sedan, but that was totaled by a woman, so we bought a '97 LX sedan, which was also totaled by a woman some years later. That brings us to our current Civic, a '98 DX, I've put about 80k on it. All are 5-speeds and I can tell you that all three have basically driven identically. If you're looking for a really cheap car that gets decent mileage, you can get one of these for next to nothing and you probably won't regret it at all. It's a great car, and very reliable (assuming you avoid the auto tranny...it's a Honda).

This thing, in its prime, regularly cranked out 40 MPG around town, on the highway...wherever. Now the engine is a little worn out, but I still rarely see a single tank below 35 MPG. These cars are a lot of fun to drive around town. The acceleration is decent if you really rev it up, although still pitiful under normal circumstances. The clutch is extremely light and barely takes any effort to push in and operate compared to every other car I've ever driven. Transmission is buttery-smooth even at 218k. The HVAC controls are great. You can run the defrost with recirc on and A/C off, unlike every other car ever made. Drives great in the snow, too. You really have great control.

This car would not be my first choice for a long road trip at any reasonable speed. At 75 MPH, the engine is screaming along at 3500+ RPM. The noise can be annoying at times (granted I've been in noisier cars that were 7 years newer). It also isn't very stable in windy conditions and gets knocked around like the lightweight car it is.

1997 Honda Civic Owners Manual

1997 Honda Civic Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 1997 Honda  Civici Read this before downloading the file.

According edmunds for the 1997 Honda Civic. Honda deletes the Civic EX Coupe five-speed with ABS model. DX models receive new wheel covers, all 1997 Honda Civic trims get 14-inch wheels, and the LX Sedan gets air conditioning.

Big mistake.

Since then, Americans have seen four generations of the Civic come and go, each much improved over the previous model, and each becoming immensely popular with consumers. 1996 brought us a new generation; certainly improved by not so much so that we'd consider it revolutionary. The 1997 Civic isn't much smaller than an Accord. Available in hatchback, sedan and coupe body styles, Honda has heeded customers who claimed the 1992-1995 Civic was too sporty looking. A grille was tacked on up front, sheetmetal contours provide a squarish profile, and larger rear taillamps give the Civic a more conservative look. Sedans, coupes and hatchbacks have been given more individualistic styling themes, with the hatchback retaining honors as most odd among the trio.

Dual airbags are part of the package, with antilock brakes standard on EX sedans, and coupe models equipped with an automatic transmission. HX coupes carry through with a continuously-variable transmission, making it the most exciting Civic offered.

1996 Honda Civic Owners Manual

1996 Honda Civic Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 1996 Honda  Civici Read this before downloading the file.

According samarins for the 1996 Honda Civic.. The sixth-generation Honda Civic was a simple, comfortable, economical and long-lasting car. Many think that this generation Civic was even better than the next 2001-2005 model; it surely was one of the best commuters and you still can see many Civics of this generation on the road. The 1996-2000 Honda Civic was available in North America as a four-door sedan, two-door coupe or two-door hatchback. Honda Civic has front-wheel drive with a 4-cylinder engine and a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission. The HX model has a continuously variable transmission.

The base engine was the 1.6-liter 4-cylinder 16-valve SOHC. The US EX model and Canadian SI model came with a more powerful VTEC version of the same engine. Either engine has a timing belt that needs to be replaced at recommended intervals. Honda Civic engine is proven to be reliable if maintained well. The EPA rates the 2000 Civic at 24/32 MPG or 9.8/7.4 liters per hundred kilometers city/highway. With these numbers, the EPA estimates yearly fuel cost at $2,100 based on 45% highway, 55% city driving.
Inside, the Civic is fairly roomy and comfortable for daily driving, but the rear-seat headroom is limited. Instruments and controls are simple and easy to use. The split rear seat folds down to accommodate longer items.

On the road, the Civic offers well-controlled handling with a smooth ride. On the downside, the engine is noisy at acceleration.

In the NHTSA frontal crash tests, the 1996-1997 4-door models scored four stars for the driver and five stars for the front passenger. The 1996-2000 Honda Civic 2-door as well as 1998-2000 4-door model scored four stars for both the driver and the front passenger in the same tests.

1995 Honda Civic Owners Manual

1995 Honda Civic Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 1995 Honda  Civici Read this before downloading the file.

What is the consumer reviews about 1995 Honda Civic according to carsurvey? .The Honda Civic CX has treated me very well. I would describe this car as high value for your money as it requires very little maintenance and is very dependable. This car is perfect for daily commuting as it is easy to drive and comfortable on short trips.

My favorite features of this car is its performance during the winter. The CX starts every day on cold Canadian winters. I don't even have to plug in the block heater until at least -20 C. There have been a few winters where the temp has dipped below -30 C and the car still starts.

Additionally, with some high quality studless tires the CX handles superbly on icy and snowy roads. You can crank on the steering wheel and the cars will turn like it were on rails. The only problems with winter driving that have occurred is getting stuck in snow drifts due to low ground clearance.

Although the CX is an subcompact economy car there are still some features I am disappointed with. For starters the CX doesn't come properly equipped. My 5 speed manual doesn't have a tachometer. Also, there is now power steering or ABS. If this car was any heavier it wouldn't be operable due to steering issues at low speeds. Other features have been omitted by Honda including no passenger side mirror, no wiper for the hatch window, no clock, poor interior lighting. I guess you can purchase these as options; however aren't the above features necessities?

Overall, the Civic  CX is a great car. With over 265,000 km I can still achieve over 550 km on a 35 litre tank of fuel. The engine and transmission are running very smooth for their age. I am never hesitant to take this car on road trips in the fear of a break down. If you can find a used '95 Civic I would strongly suggest to purchase.
