1997 Honda Civic Owners Manual

1997 Honda Civic Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 1997 Honda  Civici Read this before downloading the file.

According edmunds for the 1997 Honda Civic. Honda deletes the Civic EX Coupe five-speed with ABS model. DX models receive new wheel covers, all 1997 Honda Civic trims get 14-inch wheels, and the LX Sedan gets air conditioning.

More than two decades ago, Honda introduced the Civic. It was a small, anonymous, unassuming car, competing in a market saturated by mammoth sedans sporting ornate chrome, garish styling treatments, and acres of sheetmetal. The producers of these defunct dinosaurs didn't bat an eye at Honda's fuel sipping entry, despite the fuel crisis of 1973. Big mistake.

Since then, Americans have seen four generations of the Civic come and go, each much improved over the previous model, and each becoming immensely popular with consumers. 1996 brought us a new generation; certainly improved by not so much so that we'd consider it revolutionary. The 1997 Civic isn't much smaller than an Accord. Available in hatchback, sedan and coupe body styles, Honda has heeded customers who claimed the 1992-1995 Civic was too sporty looking. A grille was tacked on up front, sheetmetal contours provide a squarish profile, and larger rear taillamps give the Civic a more conservative look. Sedans, coupes and hatchbacks have been given more individualistic styling themes, with the hatchback retaining honors as most odd among the trio.

Dual airbags are part of the package, with antilock brakes standard on EX sedans, and coupe models equipped with an automatic transmission. HX coupes carry through with a continuously-variable transmission, making it the most exciting Civic offered.

1996 Honda Civic Owners Manual

1996 Honda Civic Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 1996 Honda  Civici Read this before downloading the file.

According samarins for the 1996 Honda Civic.. The sixth-generation Honda Civic was a simple, comfortable, economical and long-lasting car. Many think that this generation Civic was even better than the next 2001-2005 model; it surely was one of the best commuters and you still can see many Civics of this generation on the road. The 1996-2000 Honda Civic was available in North America as a four-door sedan, two-door coupe or two-door hatchback. Honda Civic has front-wheel drive with a 4-cylinder engine and a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission. The HX model has a continuously variable transmission.

The base engine was the 1.6-liter 4-cylinder 16-valve SOHC. The US EX model and Canadian SI model came with a more powerful VTEC version of the same engine. Either engine has a timing belt that needs to be replaced at recommended intervals. Honda Civic engine is proven to be reliable if maintained well. The EPA rates the 2000 Civic at 24/32 MPG or 9.8/7.4 liters per hundred kilometers city/highway. With these numbers, the EPA estimates yearly fuel cost at $2,100 based on 45% highway, 55% city driving.
Inside, the Civic is fairly roomy and comfortable for daily driving, but the rear-seat headroom is limited. Instruments and controls are simple and easy to use. The split rear seat folds down to accommodate longer items.

On the road, the Civic offers well-controlled handling with a smooth ride. On the downside, the engine is noisy at acceleration.

In the NHTSA frontal crash tests, the 1996-1997 4-door models scored four stars for the driver and five stars for the front passenger. The 1996-2000 Honda Civic 2-door as well as 1998-2000 4-door model scored four stars for both the driver and the front passenger in the same tests.

1995 Honda Civic Owners Manual

1995 Honda Civic Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 1995 Honda  Civici Read this before downloading the file.

What is the consumer reviews about 1995 Honda Civic according to carsurvey? .The Honda Civic CX has treated me very well. I would describe this car as high value for your money as it requires very little maintenance and is very dependable. This car is perfect for daily commuting as it is easy to drive and comfortable on short trips.

My favorite features of this car is its performance during the winter. The CX starts every day on cold Canadian winters. I don't even have to plug in the block heater until at least -20 C. There have been a few winters where the temp has dipped below -30 C and the car still starts.

Additionally, with some high quality studless tires the CX handles superbly on icy and snowy roads. You can crank on the steering wheel and the cars will turn like it were on rails. The only problems with winter driving that have occurred is getting stuck in snow drifts due to low ground clearance.

Although the CX is an subcompact economy car there are still some features I am disappointed with. For starters the CX doesn't come properly equipped. My 5 speed manual doesn't have a tachometer. Also, there is now power steering or ABS. If this car was any heavier it wouldn't be operable due to steering issues at low speeds. Other features have been omitted by Honda including no passenger side mirror, no wiper for the hatch window, no clock, poor interior lighting. I guess you can purchase these as options; however aren't the above features necessities?

Overall, the Civic  CX is a great car. With over 265,000 km I can still achieve over 550 km on a 35 litre tank of fuel. The engine and transmission are running very smooth for their age. I am never hesitant to take this car on road trips in the fear of a break down. If you can find a used '95 Civic I would strongly suggest to purchase.

2011 Honda Odyssey Owners Manual

2011 Honda Odyssey Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 2011 Honda Odyssey. Read this before downloading the file.

According to edmunds, for 2011 Honda Odyssey. The 2011 Honda Odyssey has been completely redesigned. Highlights include sleeker styling, a roomier interior, improved fuel economy and new features like a chilled storage box and a rear-seat entertainment system with surround-sound audio and a high-definition display.

The latest Odyssey is still very much a modern not-so-mini minivan, with seating for up to eight passengers, sliding rear doors, V6 power and a familiar boxy silhouette. But Honda has tried to spruce things up with a sleeker grille, more pronounced front fenders and a stylized rear beltline. On the inside, you'll find higher-quality materials and a new dash design that's slightly less busy-looking than before.

The new Odyssey also offers more comfort and practicality. Thanks to a size increase (it's about an inch longer and more than 2 inches wider than last year), the 2011 model has more legroom for second- and third-row passengers. The second-row seat is also more useful this year, with a center section that slides forward and a special configuration mode that's wide enough for three child safety seats. There's also a revised mechanism that makes the 60/40-split third-row seat easier to stow.

The 2011 Honda Odyssey is offered in five trim levels: LX, EX, EX-L, Touring and Touring Elite. The entry-level LX comes reasonably well-equipped with 17-inch steel wheels, keyless entry, automatic headlights, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a power driver seat, a 60/40-split-folding third-row seat, air-conditioning, full power accessories, cruise control and a five-speaker sound system with a CD player and auxiliary audio jack.

Considering it essentially uses the same powertrain as the previous generation, it should come as no surprise that the 2011 Honda Odyssey LX and EX models feel very familiar. Performance is more than adequate for most people's daily needs. Touring models are a bit more responsive thanks to their six-speed automatic transmission that executes shifts quickly and smoothly. Even though the Odyssey is outpowered by the Toyota Sienna's 266-hp V6, this new powertrain feels just as lively, with either minivan able to confidently merge onto the highway or pass slower moving traffic.

2010 Honda Odyssey Owners Manual

2010 Honda Odyssey Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 2010 Honda Odyssey. Read this before downloading the file.

According to edmunds, for 2010 Honda Odyssey. The 2010 Honda Odyssey is offered in four trim levels: LX, EX, EX-L and Touring. The base LX model includes 16-inch steel wheels, dual manual sliding rear doors, keyless entry, full power accessories, cruise control, front and rear air-conditioning, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a retractable center tray between the front seats and a four-speaker CD stereo with an auxiliary audio jack. The EX trim level adds alloy wheels, power-sliding rear doors, roof rails, heated outside mirrors, automatic headlights, a power driver seat, a removable second-row center seat, a conversation mirror, automatic triple-zone climate control and a six-speaker audio system with an in-dash six-CD changer and steering-wheel-mounted audio controls.

The 2010 Honda Odyssey is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 244 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque (EX-L and Touring models get an additional boost of 5 pound-feet). The only transmission available is a five-speed automatic that channels power to the front wheels.

The EX-L and Touring models come equipped with Variable Cylinder Management (VCM), which deactivates up to three cylinders when coasting. This system allows those particular Odysseys to return an EPA-estimated 17 mpg city/25 mpg highway and 20 mpg combined -- a notable improvement over the base engine's 16/23/18. In performance testing, we accelerated a Touring model from zero to 60 mph in 9.1 seconds -- slower than some competitors, but still respectable.

The 2010 Honda Odyssey's responsive steering, taut suspension, smooth V6 power and relatively tight turning radius make it the most carlike minivan on the road, unless you count the much smaller Mazda 5. When the road goes from straight and flat to hilly and curvy, the suspension skillfully keeps this minivan solidly planted and stable. Gearchanges from the five-speed automatic are quick and smooth.

On the highway, road noise is prominent in the Odyssey compared to the competition, and the overall ride quality isn't as luxurious as the Toyota Sienna's. Still, the Odyssey can ably transport plenty of passengers for long distances quite comfortably.

2009 Honda Odyssey Owners Manual

2009 Honda Odyssey Owners Manual - Hi guys, this is an online blog which shares all info that related to the Owners Manual book. We will update this blog daily, so do not worry to come back. All right, here we have the review about 2009 Honda Odyssey. Read this before downloading the file.

According to edmunds, for 2009 Honda Odyssey. The midsize 2009 Honda Odyssey minivan is available in four trim levels: LX, EX, EX-L and Touring. The base LX model comes standard with dual manual sliding rear doors, keyless entry, full power accessories, cruise control, dual-zone air-conditioning, a tilt and telescoping steering wheel and a four-speaker AM/FM/CD stereo with MP3 compatibility and an auxiliary audio jack. The EX trim level adds alloy wheels, power-sliding rear doors, a power driver seat, automatic triple-zone climate control and a six-speaker audio system with an in-dash six-CD changer. The luxurious EX-L provides a leather-trimmed interior, heated front seats, a power front passenger seat, a power liftgate, a back-up camera with a rearview-mirror-mounted display, satellite radio and a sunroof. Optional on the EX-L are a rear DVD entertainment system and a navigation system with Bluetooth and an integrated back-up camera display. For those with fatter wallets who desire the ultimate Honda Odyssey, the Touring edition adds run-flat tires, rear parking sensors, power-adjustable pedals, driver memory positioning and a premium audio system.

The 2009 Honda Odyssey is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that drives the front wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. On lower-level LX and EX trims, this engine produces 244 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque. For upscale EX-L and Touring models, it's engineered with a fuel-saving cylinder deactivation feature called Variable Cylinder Management (VCM). Compared to last year's, newly revised figures raise power levels to a similar 244 horses and 245 lb-ft of torque. With this more sophisticated power plant that can deactivate two or three of the engine's six cylinders under cruising conditions, the 2009 Honda Odyssey returns EPA-estimated fuel economy of 17 mpg city/25 mpg highway and 20 mpg combined, while the base engine is rated at 16/23/18. In performance testing, we've clocked a Touring model from zero to 60 mph in a respectable 8.7 seconds.

The 2009 Honda Odyssey remains the most carlike minivan currently available, thanks to responsive steering, athletic suspension calibration and a tight turning radius. However, smaller families on a budget and those not needing to haul around extra passengers and cargo might want to consider a trimmer and more maneuverable compact carry-all like the Mazda 5 or Kia Rondo. At speed, either Honda V6 provides good acceleration, but the Odyssey's interior noise levels and relatively firm ride make it feel less luxurious than the Sienna.
